Sanitary Inspectors nately £240 £270 and like the latter are drawn from the ranks of the Police. It

is desirable to keep their emoluments at least on a

level with those of Sanitary and Police Inspectors

of the first class.

I have therefore to ask your permission to

accord the privilege of free quarters to all Revenue Officers, to house any of them for whom accommodation may be available in the quarters now being built for Sanitary Inspectors end (verseers, to make some small addition to some of the blocks of such quarters if experience shows that accommodation is not available, or to nire quarters for some in or near the hired premises which I propose to use for a Boiling Factory and Offices and Packing Department.
